Affiliation Information
Affiliated School: ST. Andrew’s Junior College, Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Primary School
Students who wished to be posted to an affiliated secondary school via affiliation priority must indicate the affiliated secondary school as the first choice. However, this affiliation priority does not guarantee admission, as admission is subject to the availability of places.
It is important for all secondary schools to remain accessible to students regardless of their background and connections. Hence, at least 20% of the places in each course (i.e. Express/N(A)/N(T)) of each school, will be allocated to those who do not benefit from the affiliation priority.
HMT Information
Eligibility for Higher Mother Tongue Language (HMTL) in Sec School
| Students are eligible to take up HMTL from S1 onwards if they have: - PSLE Score of 8 or better; OR - PSLE Score of 9 to 14 inclusive; and attain AL1/AL2 in MTL or Distinction/Merit in HMTL |
| Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Secondary School offers HCL and HTL, while HML is offered at designated centres. |
| Additional Information: If your child obtains a grade of A1 to C6 for both English and HMTL at GCE ‘O’ Level Examination and qualifies for admission to a Junior College (JC/Millennia Institute (MI), they will be given a concession of two points in their application to the JC/MI of their choice through the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE). |
